The Canadian Safety Council Babysitter Course for ages 11+is an excellent tool for Children/Tweens to take to prepare to become a great babysitter. This course teaches how to become a babysitter, the roles and responsibilities of the babysitter, employer and children, development of children at different ages, maintaining a safe environment, what to do in case of emergency. This course also includes a water safety component for when babysitting around bath tubs, pools and water. Cost $65

The Canadian Safety Alliance Home Alone Course is for children ages 9+. This course gives both children and parents the confidence to stay home alone for short periods of time. Children learn in a fun and interactive way how to be safe and productive while Home Alone. This course also covers safe internet use. There is an option to make a full day of it and stay and swim until 4pm. Cost $50 Home Alone Course $20 for the afternoon
