Standard First Aid with CPR-C + AED

Duration: 2 days (14-16hrs) for full certification course
Prerequisites: None

Recertification: $95.00 (Regular $110.00)
Duration: 1 day (7-8hrs) for recertification course
Recertification Prerequisites: Current Red Cross full certification (SFA CPR-C), valid within 3 years

Recommended for: Trade people, security guards, general public, child care providers, students, families, parents, personal support workers, health & safety reps.

Under the WSIB - First Aid Requirements (regulation 1101), this level of certification is required for worplaces with 6-250 employees.

Training For Life Babysitter Course

The Canadian Safety Council Babysitter Course for ages 11+is an excellent tool for Children/Tweens to take to prepare to become a great babysitter. This course teaches how to become a babysitter, the roles and responsibilities of the babysitter, employer and children, development of children at different ages, maintaining a safe environment, what to do in case of emergency. This course also includes a water safety component for when babysitting around bath tubs, pools and water. Cost $65

Training For Life Home Alone Course

Location: Plunge! Aquatic Centre

The Canadian Safety Alliance Home Alone Course is for children ages 9+. This course gives both children and parents the confidence to stay home alone for short periods of time. Children learn in a fun and interactive way how to be safe and productive while Home Alone. This course also covers safe internet use. There is an option to make a full day of it and stay and swim until 4pm. Cost $50 Home Alone Course $20 for the afternoon
